Common Questions when purchasing Key Cards

What do most Key Cards look like?

Most Key Cards include a Barcode or a magnetic stripe or both. Since Key Cards are commonly used to access a facility, many organizations do not print information of the card that would allow for someone to find a misplaced card and gain access to their facility. Some Key Cards are full color or gray scale and they incorporate an ID Photo, name, ID Badge number, barcode or magnetic stripe and sometimes an electrical contact point to access and verify the card holder credentials.

I already have a design. Can Creative Card Group just print my Key Cards for me?

You can create your own Artwork on our template for the Key Cards you will be manufacturing, all we need is the artwork sent to us in a High Resolution file of one of the following formats;

  • EPS
  • Any Adobe File
  • Quark

I need the Key Cards right now; what is your turn around time for printing and shipping?

Creative Card Group's plastic card production has normal turnaround time of 10-14 business days. We do offer rush services of 3 and 5 business day production turns to help those in the demanding need for high quality plastic cards. We will always provide you with a realistic time frame for the completion of your card printing project. Is there a minimum number of Key Cards that I can order?

Creative Card Group will print cards in any quantity you need. Key Card pricing is available by submitting a request for a quote. CCG encourages it's customers to request quotes for more than two quantities as this can effect the cost per card.

What else are Key Card customers ordering?

Key Card customers often order lanyards, and ID badge clips to maintain ease of use or the key badges. Creative Card Group also can print two color custom logos on to retractable badge clips with our two color pad printer.
