Plastic Card Design & Printing Options

Barcode:

A unique barcode will be printed on your plastic products in the location that you choose. A start number will be required for sequential numbering or a spread sheet will need to accompany any barcode order that has variable information such as random numbers. If the barcode is to remain identical throughout the print job, this is to be included in the artwork only and is not an additional cost.

Contact Cards:

A smart card, chip card, or integrated circuit card (ICC), is in any pocket-sized card with embedded integrated circuits which can process data. This implies that it can receive input which is processed - by way of the ICC applications - and delivered as an output. There are two broad categories of ICCs. Memory cards contain only non-volatile memory storage components, and perhaps some specific security logic. Microprocessor cards contain volatile memory and microprocessor components. The card is made of plastic, generally PVC, but sometimes ABS. The card may embed a hologram to avoid counterfeiting. Using smartcards also is a form of strong security authentication for single sign-on within large companies and organizations.

Contactless Cards:

Are available in many varieties, the RFID Proximity card covers Low Frequency 125KHz and High Frequency 13.56MHz technology, and even a UHF RFID inlay covering 860-960MHz. These radio frequencies allow reading devices to receive unique data for multiple purposes, such as access control, facility monitoring, and secure credential verification.

Embossing:

Embossing is available for those that require the raise letter/numbering that personalizes the cards.

Full Photo Color:

Today's Printing capabilities allow for the highest quality photo printing with the High Resolution Digital Press that has the ability to print in High Definition for that product to perform and stand out better than any other product.

Magnetic Stripes:

Whether your magnetic stripe is a Lo-coresivity or Hi-coresivity we can add this to your card. The magnetic stripe must be encoded to interact and function properly with your processing terminals. Lo-Co magnetic stripes cost less and perform less than the Hi-Co. Lo-co mag stripes are more susceptible to failure, by magnetic interruption and extended use. Hi-Co magnetic stripe are generally 2-3 times more expensive than the lo-co and maintain a better performance for extended operations and less failure due to magnetic field corruption. The printed barcode is one of the best solutions to avoid any failures.

Magnetic Encoding:

Your plastic card's magnetic stripe may not work properly if it is not encoded within the parameters of the Point of Sale system the cards are intended to work with. This information is available from the Point of Sale provider.

Micro Text:

Very fine printing that is unreadable to the human eye or a copy machine. Can be easily embedded into the normal graphics design or text and a deliberate typo can be placed in a text string to identify a counterfeit attempt.

Signature Panels:

Signature panels are applied as thin writeable labels. They can also be available as a writeable material used to laminate the one side of the card.

Scratch Off Panel:

A scratch off panel can be used as a security feature for PIN codes and gaming sweepstakes cards; the scratch off panel can be applied as a secure label or as a custom size and shape.

Variable Data & Personalization:

This feature will allow the printed artwork to remain the same while printing the variable text in each location or field you chose. This feature is used with PIN codes, membership card orders, ID photos, names and numbers.
